That makes us one of the pioneers among renewable energy companies. Today the Group is still an owner-run enterprise. We plan, implement and finance wind and solar energy projects.

What we do

Our team at Projekt GmbH has been realising wind energy projects of all sizes since 1993, both onshore and offshore. As a wind energy specialist, we are among the leading operators of prototypes, and draw on the corresponding product and management know-how. Furthermore, as an independent service provider, Projekt GmbH advises customers over the whole duration of their project and takes care of technical operation management of existing wind farms. Our customers include listed companies, municipal utilities, banks, asset management companies and landowners.

Projekt Ökovest GmbH

Projekt Ökovest GmbH, founded in 1996, initiates, finances and manages its own projects in the field of renewable energy systems and sustainable forestry. Another focus is on evaluations and feasibility studies for green construction projects, especially wind energy projects. For many years, the company has been responsible for the commercial management of wind farms. Based on our longstanding cooperation with banks and respected financial services providers, we guarantee solid financial planning and expert support in every phase of your project. So far, Projekt Ökovest has financed and marketed projects with a power of more than 650 megawatts. Included here are community wind farms, development of onshore and offshore projects with venture capital up to the securing of permits as well as prototypes and projects of our own.

Projekt Ekovest Polska Sp. z o.o.

Projekt Ekovest Polska Sp. z o. o. was founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of Projekt Ökovest. Since the beginning of its activity the company has been engaged in the development of wind farm projects, and since 2019 it has been implementing photovoltaic projects on the growing Polish market. In 2021 the company obtained the conditions for connection to the grid for the first photovoltaic installations.

Ecoprojeto Ltda.

We have been gaining experience on the Brazilian market since 2002 with Ecoprojeto Ltda. The first two wind energy projects were sold to third parties complete with permits for network connection and construction. Further projects are undergoing a due diligence process ahead of implementation.

Ecoproject Cabo Verde S.A.

Ecoproject Cabo Verde S.A. was founded in 2020 for realisation of the first solar projects on the Cape Verde Islands. The first photovoltaic plant generates electricity for the largest fish processing company under a power purchase agreement (PPA). The PPA for a second project was signed at the beginning of 2021.

During their studies at Oldenburg University, Heike Kröger and Ubbo de Witt, now Managing Partners of the Projekt Group, were particularly inspired by the working groups "Physics of regenerative energy sources" and "Alternative energy research".
