We examine locations worldwide to identify their suitability for wind energy and solar projects. Our expertise opens up new markets. When analysing potential sites, we take into account environmental protection, local planning laws and technical aspects. At an early stage, we establish contact with decision-makers, landowners, municipalities and authorities. During this communication process, we present the project convincingly so that we can successfully implement it under the applicable approval framework.

In the planning phase, ideas take on concrete form. We work in meticulous detail to make sure technologically sophisticated turbines at optimal locations deliver reliable yields. As the largest operator of prototypes, we know everything about the strengths and weaknesses of different turbines and can therefore select the right one for each location. We calculate the costs and possible yields realistically right from the start – because we are committed to earning your trust. Crucial here are our technical expertise, independent measurements and many years of experience in the industry, also as an operator of our own wind and solar farms. The result: Power plants planned by us stand out for reliable yields and stable costs.

As planning starts, we simultaneously cooperate with our customer to develop a tailor-made financing concept for their wind and solar energy projects. Within our Group, we rely on the core know-how of Projekt Ökovest GmbH, which has been arranging and securing wind and solar farm financing since 1996. We provide our services up front, first developing projects at our own risk before offering them to customers. Thanks to our long-established network, we can count on friendly cooperation with various banks and renowned financial services providers who provide external funding. Based on conservative forecasts and expert project planning, our wind and solar farms generate solid yields, also and increasingly for our own projects.

Once the planning and financing are settled, construction starts. In this phase, we take on the complete project management for our customers, acting as the general contractor. Design and implementation planning, for instance for cable runs and foundations, invitations to tender, contracting and construction management – all this is in safe hands with us.

During the performance of all work, we cooperate closely with the parties involved, such as plant suppliers, heavy-load haulage companies, government authorities and landowners. We constantly monitor time schedules and budgets.

We can take on the operational management of wind and solar farms, either planned by our company or already established. Today, we provide round-the-clock management for turbines from various manufacturers with a total capacity of more than 300 megawatts. Included here is continuous inspection of the systems, plus coordination and monitoring of maintenance work.

We draw on many years of experience in using condition monitoring systems (CMS) to monitor and diagnose impending damage to large wind turbine components at an early stage. For the reliable and cost-effective evaluation of complex plant data, we have developed the CMS software cmEXPERT.
